Spring has Sprung

We've been loving the nice weather! Dylan has been wanting to be outside constantly. When we are inside he stands at the door or window and says "Mommy I wanna go outside". I swear I hear that 30 times a day! He is quite the character these days. He never stops moving and never stops talking. He always "assumes the sale" he tells you what he wants and then he says "okay okay" and assumes you are going to give him whatever he wants. This child is really quite exhausting! By the end of the day we are happy to fall into bed.

Dylan loves to go fishing. I can't wait until I can send the boys off alone on fishing outings. Dylan loves to touch and hold the slimy things. Dad loves it.

Jeff was mowing the lawn so Dylan had to bring his out too. I love his focus. Check out the tongue hanging out of his mouth!

I love having a 2 yr old. It is such a fun age. You never know what is going to come out of his mouth. I am still getting a lot of questions from people when we are out. They are always shocked at how much he talks when he is so small. He hit 18 lbs last week! yahoo! We would love to gain a few more lbs in the next few months, but as much as this child moves we'll see. We'll take what we can get! He is making some progress with oral eating. Feeding therapy is going well and he has learned to chew. YAY! This was quite a hurdle for him. We are hoping for only about 2 more yrs with the feeding tube.

His favs right now are chocolate, apridos(which means chips, not sure where that word came from, but we were happy when we figured out what it meant), cheerios and pizza.

These boys are my world!

Happy Easter

We had a fun Easter weekend! Conference was great and we had a lot of family time. Dylan still doesn't have a clue about the Easter bunny or the real meaning of Easter, but he still loved all of his new stuff! Since chocolate is one of the handful of things that he eats orally he has been in heaven eating tons of chocolate for the last few days! Hey...we'll take all of the calories we can get into him!

This video is right after he woke up...I just love his little voice (even though I hear it every second of his waking hours!)

Dylan just chilling Easter night watching the one and only Mickey Mouse. He has been a crack up with hats lately. He likes to put them on so that they cover his eyes. Then he blindly walks around with no fear. He's runnning in to things and has tripped down the 2 stairs that connect the family room...all the while giggling like it is hilarious.

All dressed up for church last week. He wouldn't peel his eyes away from Mickey Mouse to look at the camera. Last Sunday was the first Sunday that we got to go to church as a family since October! Dylan has to stay in during the winter months and avoid crowds because his immune system is still really weak. So Jeff and I have been switching off on Sundays. One goes and one stays. So we all went together and Dylan was HORRIBLE. We ended up switching off who was in the hall with him! Too bad his Mickey Mouse show can't come with us to church. It is the ONLY thing that he sits kind of still for!
